On Tuesday 17th April, Reception class visited Heighley Gate Garden Centre. The visit was to enhance the topic they have been studying, 'Growing Things'. They were able to sow their own seeds and bring them back to school so that they can water them and watch them grow. They also visited the pet department where they looked at the parrot, guinea pigs, fish and lots more. They played 'eye spy' around the garden centre looking for things such as plant pots and mistletoe. After dinner they played in the large play area where they had lots of fun!
