Ten children from Year 5 represented Bill Quay school in a Robotics Challenge against other Gateshead schools at the City Learning Centre on Friday 29th June. The children were split into two groups and were given the challenge of programming a robot to do 6 different movements. The children then worked together, both teams rising to the challenge with 'The Rampaging Penguins' winning overall by a clear 40 points!!!!
They will now represent the school in the finals later on in the year.
