Visit to Newcastle University Mosque

Linked to their RE topic, Year 6 had the opportunity to visited Newcastle University Mosque. The children watched while daily prayers were held and then embarked on a tour of the Mosque. After the tour they met a brother of the Mosque where they had the chance to learn more about the Islamic faith and ask any questions they had about the Mosque and the activities that are held there.
