Five children from Year 6 represented Bill Quay school in the final of the Gateshead Schools Robotics Challenge at the City Learning Centre on Friday 19th October. The children were given the challenge of programming a robot to do 3 different movements. The children worked together sharing their ideas rising to the challenge, with an outstanding performance. Unfortunately they were pipped at the post by Roman Road school, finishing in runners up position.
