Rocks and Fossil Workshop

Year 2/3 were wowed by fossils found within rocks during their rocks and fossils workshop. They had to match the fossils to the pictures of the animals and plants including a mammoth's tooth! All pupils extended their ability to sort rocks based on different criteria and had to test rocks to find out what each rock was called.
