Mr Mulholland visits Year 6

Mr Mullholland visited Year 6 on 26th November and 7th,11th &12th December to work with the children on Design Technology and support them with their topic work on Shelters. He showed the children how to make a shelter from paper, looking at the strength of paper cylinders which the children made and combined to create the shelters structure. They needed accuracy and patience and lots of ideas to enable them to progress onto making the structure of a bridge, which they did, then they went onto successfully complete the structure of a football stadium.
