Monkwearmouth Station Museum

On Friday children from Year 6 visited Monkwearmouth Station Museum where they were introduced to Roy who told them all about what it was like to be an evacuee in the Second World War. After listening to Roy the children turned detectives as they were given bags and suitcases. They then used the clues inside to identify who the bags belonged to and what they were doing during the war. The children had great fun!
