On Monday 9th February children from Years 5 & 6 took part in an athletics tournament at Heworth Grange School against three other schools. The children did both track and field events and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. It was a very noisy afternoon as the children cheered each other on.

All the children taken part had a wonderful time and best of all - Bill Quay won!

Following this event, a representative team will be selected for the finals in March at Gateshead International Stadium.
