On Tuesday Year 6 visited Sunderland Empire to watch Shakespeare's ' The Tempest' performed by the Shakespeare 4 Kidz Theatre Company. They enjoyed the magical, mystical musical production about Prospero, the former Duke of Milan and his revenge on his wicked brother. When a powerful sea tempest shipwrecks Prospero's former adversaries on an enchanted island they are tricked and tormented by his magical spell. The children thoroughly enjoyed the performance brought to life in a vibrant fun filled way, by the Shakespeare Company.
