As part of our ongoing 'Comenius Project' Mrs Lees and Mrs Wearmouth took the following children from Year 6 Joseph, Micheal, Abbie and Kate Hanlon to the town of Leon in Northern Spain. Whilst in Leon they spent time looking around the school Colegio La Anunciata, and enjoyed spotting local land marks in the town. They also took part in a number of different activities during their stay including; going up into the mountains, archery, climbing, walking and caving. We also took the opportunity to cook a traditional English meal for our Spanish hosts from our cookery books we brought with us from home. On our last night some of the Spanish families organised a disco for us and then took us all out for pizza afterwards.
