On Monday the Eco School Council met Michael from Gateshead Council along with St Albans Primary School, to help plant bulbs and trees in Bill Quay Park. The children had a great time and are looking forward to seeing their plants bloom in Spring and watching their trees grow.

You may have read in our Friday Letter that we have recently formed an Eco-Schools Action Group. This group will work together with all the children at the school, governors and the local community to make our school grounds more environmentally friendly. We are aiming to achieve the status of an Eco-School with-in the next 2 years. Keep watching this space for details of our work!
