Bike It Clubs will be taking place on Tuesdays this half term.

As the weather gets better they aim to go on a few bike rides. In preparation for this there will be playground bike-skills sessions. ALL children MUST bring a helmet for these sessions to be able to take part. Wilkinsons and Woolworths do good quality ones for about £6, bright clothes are advisable, too.

Children from Reception and Years 1/2 have enjoyed working alongside members of Gateshead Catering Services whilst attending an after school cookery club. They have had the opportunity to make a variety of dishes which they have taken home for their families to sample and enjoy.

Year 3/4 pupils are busy practising a dance routine for the Annual Gateshead Dance Festival. This year’s theme is slavery/pattern.

Mrs Welsh has been running an After School ICT Club for children in Years 3/4, which commenced on Tuesday 19th September 2006. The children have been using a recommended BBC fun and colourful website called 'Dance Mat Typing' with animation and games to introduce them to touch typing.

Mrs Messenger has been running an After School Gymnastic Club for Years 4/5/6, which commenced on Thursday 28th September 2006. The children have been practising every week to help them get prepared to take part in The Gymnastic Festival being held on, Thursday November 30th at Gateshead Leisure Centre in Maple Hall.

The Gymnastic Festival will be held on Thursday November 30th at Gateshead Leisure Centre, Maple Hall. Doors will open at 5.30pm with the Festival running from 6-8pm (approx). We are waiting confirmation of our ticket allocation and wlll keep you posted as to when they will be on sale.
