Reception read the story Once there were giants and sequenced stages of growing up.
Reception have been learning about 'Ourselves' . They looked at how they have changed and made time lines of their lives. They talked about the people who live in theirhouses.
Year 1 worked with 'That History Bloke' to investigate what life was like in the olden days.
This term Year 2 have been focusing on Flight. The children have researched the Wright Brothers, Bessie Coleman and the Moon Landing. The children have explored different sources of information and learnt lots of impressive facts!
Year 3 have been learning about The Stone Age.
We learnt about the various artefacts that have been discovered over the years and made our own clay pots!
Year 4 worked with 'That History Bloke' to explore Roman Life.
In Year 5 we have been learning about Ancient Greece and how they lived with the help of 'That History Bloke.'
Year 6 - Second World War
That History Bloke, Richard Stevenson, visited the class of Year 6 to lead a workshop about life during WW2.
Reception discussed people who are special to us.
