Bee Aware!
Year 5 welcomed Kirsty, a visitor working with Bill Quay Farm, into school this week to learn more about the importance of bees. We learned about the different body parts of bees, the different species, their role in pollination and how vital this is to our own survival. We also went to the farm to plant some wild flowers in order to encourage bees to visit and pollinate them.
