All classes thoroughly enjoyed British Science Week from 6-15 March. They participated in a variety of workshops, online sessions and exciting investigations in class.

Y1 Learn about the History of our School

Year 1 have been learning about the history of our school and how it has changed over time. They expired old photographs, looked through our original school log book and even examined the original school bell and a leather strap that was once used to punish children. The children were fascinated by these artefacts!

Anglo Saxon Monks

Year 4 enjoyed a fabulous afternoon with Richard, 'That History Bloke', learning all about the importance of Anglo Saxon monks. They learnt about the different jobs that the monks did, their daily routine, games that they played and prayers that they would have sang.

Odd Sock Day

Pupils came into school today wearing odd socks to mark the start of Anti-Bullying Week. The theme this year is 'Power for Good' and throughout the week, we will explore how we can use our power to speak out, support others and build a world where kindness wins.

Harvest Stay and Play for Nursery

We were delighted to welcome parents and family members of our Nursery pupils into school this week for a Harvest themed Stay and Play session. Accompanied by Mrs Kitson, the children performed a collecting of songs beautifully, then enjoyed a range of crafts and activities with their grown-ups.

Spooky Disco

Children had great fun at the Spooky Disco this week. Everyone looked fabulous and had gone to lots of effort with their costumes. They enjoyed dancing, party games and some spooky treats. Our catering staff put on a superb Halloween feast too!
