Y1 Learn about the History of our School
Year 1 have been learning about the history of our school and how it has changed over time. They expired old photographs, looked through our original school log book and even examined the original school bell and a leather strap that was once used to punish children. The children were fascinated by these artefacts!
We were also lucky to welcome a special visitor, Norma, who attended our school over 70 years ago. She shared wonderful stories about her time here, including how the toilets were outside in the yard and how there was a special room set up as a dining room where girls were taught how to clean, polish cutlery and run a household.
