Our Learning

Commando Joe - Mission 1. Our year 3's worked together to successfully rescue a baby gorilla from its cage in a swamp, using just a few pieces of equipment.

In our second RE topic, we explored the question, "Has Christmas lost its true meaning?" In our final lesson, we thought about what Christmas gift we would give the world this year if we could - here are some of our responses:
In our first French topic we have learnt how to introduce ourselves, how to count up to 12 and to follow some simple classroom instructions. We had fun having some French conversations on Witches and Wizards day!

In music this term, we have been exploring Stone Age music in the context of the music of the Aborigines. We have created our own group compositions in that style, using an OSTINATO (repeated rhythm).

Here we are, composing in our groups

Listen to some of our compositions! Can you spot the ostinato?
