Our Learning Environment
The cold weather doesnt stop us playing in our water area!
We have had some new furniture delivered to our outdoor area. Check out our music wall, mud kitchen and builders yard!
Outside we have an X Factor stage. The girls enjoyed being the judges.
We had a great time exploring our new Reception class!
We really enjoyed our first Muddy Monday. We carried out a colour hunt in the garden it was fun!
During Muddy Monday we carried out a bug hunt to rehome in our Bug Hotel.
During Muddy Monday we carried out a Shape Hunt! We found the shapes by listening to the clues.

During Muddy Monday we hunted for examples of 2D shapes in the environment. We found lots!

When it was Muddy Monday we read the story of The Jolly Postman and we received some letters of our own giving us clues to find the fairy tale characters.
Our elf disappeared during Muddy Monday. What a lovely surprise we had when we found him. Yum yum!
It was our last Little Kickers session today. After the holidays we begin Little Rugby. Today we did some Christmas games!
During Muddy Monday we heard the story of The Mixed up Chameleon and tried to camouflage our own chameleons.
Our role play area is now a vets. We are enjoying looking after the animals.

Muddy Monday was fun. We described animals to our friend and then described where we had hid them.
We enjoyed being animal detectives in Muddy Monday. We looked for animal prints and made some of our own.

Our first Little Movers session was fun! Archie was our star Little Mover and Ruby got a certificate for trying hard!
We read the story of Handa's Surprise and tried some very unusual fruits like Guava and Avocado!

Exciting news! Our livings eggs are being delivered on Monday and we are also waiting for our caterpillars to grow into butterflies and our frog spawn into tadpoles.
