Policies

School policies cover every aspect of school life. Below are some of our most important policies for your reference. If you want to know our policy on something that is not listed, please ask the school office. For details of our school's equality objectives and how we are complying with the public sector equality duty, please refer to the Equality Objectives Policy below.

Full details of our Complaints Procedure can be found below. Any parents of children with SEN who wish to make a complaint should firstly talk to the class teacher. If this does not resolve the issue, parents should then make an official complaint and ask for an appointment to meet with the Head Teacher and SENCO. This meeting should take place within seven days of the complaint being made. If the issue is still not resolved, parents can then contact the Chair of Governors and the Pupils and Curriculum committee. Parents can contact the school by telephone, letter, or in person by appointment via the school office.

We are currently reviewing and developing our PSE and Relationships Policy, including the curriculum content so that it meets the new statutory guidance which will come into effect from September 1st 2026. As a school, we refer to the PSE Association's scheme of work to support our teaching of PSE and Relationships education. This is currently being reviewed and updated; therefore, our Personal Development Programme will also be updated in line with these new changes.  We are keen to receive any feedback regarding the content of the policy or our programme. Please e-mail the school office with your feedback and we will be in touch.
