World War One
Years 5 and 6 welcomed a special visitor, Mr Stevenson, back to school this week to help kick-start their World War One topic. Mr Stevenson told us all about Frank Edward Scott, a teacher from Bill Quay County School (as it was in 1914), and helped us explore the local area and see how it had changed since 1914. We also had the opportunity to explore fabulous items, both original and replica, from this period.
