Year 1 Art & DT

This term Year 1 have been learning all about China. They have made a Chinese fan and started looking at the celebrations involved in a Chinese New Year. Daniel brought in his chop-sticks to show his friends. He had a funny Tom & Jerry pair of Chop-sticks and a very special wooden set too. Also this week,  they looked at Chinese musical instruments & how there are special lucky colours used in all the celebrations. They chose the correct coloured materials and made their own Chinese drum.
