Year 4 Visit Tesco at Gateshead
The children in Miss Webb’s class spent a really enjoyable morning at the new Tesco store in Gateshead. They were taken behind the scenes to discover how our food arrives at the store and the process it has to go through before it can be put out on the shop floor. Tracy our guide for the morning even opened up the huge fridge and freezer and invited the children in to see just how cold it was! Everyone was able to complete the challenging worksheets which included the identification of different types of fish – very tricky!
