Bill Quay Church
Our local church is Bill Quay Community Church, which is on Station Road as you come into Bill Quay. People of all ages go there and there is a service each Sunday at 11.00am with Kids Church in the hall for part of the time for children.
Lots of other groups and activities also take place in the church, many of which are attended by Bill Quay children: there’s a Baby and Toddler group on Tuesdays mornings, Scouts on a Monday night and a Women's Institute group once a month, as well as other normal church activities.
Our school holds the annual Harvest, Christmas Concert and Easter celebrations in the church. Different classes also visit the church to learn about Christian worship and ceremonies as part of their R.E. topics.
We also visit other local churches to learn more about the Bible and Christianity, including St. Mary’s C of E in Heworth.
